Health care Center, Tamin Town, Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh, a remote state which is still under development, required a prototype of a modular Primary healthcare facility. This building was designed based on the vernacular of the region where most activities happens in semi enclosed spaces. The building features a single side loaded corridor with the other side opening up to environment. The roof structure addresses the heavy rainfall in the region yet allowing sun and heat to come through the South lighting. Sun glare is blocked by the unique texture of the polycarbonate translucent material.
